The instructions for this assignment at Flathead Valley Community College were to remake three of our favorite album covers using solely typography (with a few exceptions but no illustrations/photos). The cover had to be identical to the band's original design but redesigned with text. By using the typewriter font Juniper, it showcases a dark and edgy ambiance that keeps the viewers wanting to know more. Building off these last two semesters, I understand that typography and color go hand in hand with each other. With that knowledge, I used a san serif font with an ornate display with a dark red to capture a sense of uneasiness. I took advantage of the simple design by using minimal colors in my scheme and focal points to create a cohesive and visually precise composition.
