Flathead Valley Community College Arts Program
For this project at Flathead Valley Community College, we were given certain information to include on three distinct 4x4 inch information posters. The three posters do not have to match, but they must use the red and blue color scheme. By using soft typography and welcoming shades, it allows the viewer to feel welcomed and relaxed while reading the information. Typography scaling was a difficult concept to figure out during this project but, my experience since then has rapidly increased making it an easy problem. Keeping the words “The Arts Program” and the FVCC logo as the biggest text ensures that the most important information is getting accessed first.

I was not too happy with the way these projects looked at first, they were sloppy. These last two years have been extremely informative and show I have more experience and understanding. I changed mostly everything from the originals, ensuring more visual interests and focal points to look much more interesting and engaging. Keeping them simple yet elegant with the backgrounds, or text placements.
